Number Nine is one of Torquay's newest guest houses. A Victorian town house with a 1950's style inside and with all the modern day comforts it promises a stay with a difference.

Number Nine has retained many of its original features including a grand sweeping staircase and glass domed ceiling. However the proprietor, Rachel Roffe has introduced a 1950's style with unusual 1950's memorabilia.
Number Nine is only a ten minute walk from the heart of Torquay town centre and is an excellent base for exploring Devon's stunning scenery and rich heritage. Rachel has produced a brochure with her favourite recommendations of places to visit.
The Torbay area boasts many nautical and literary connections, and has attracted some famous visitors in its time. The well known crime novelist, Agatha Christie, was born in Torquay and many of her novels are set in and around the area.

In addition to offering the perfect base for exploring the south west, we can also host themed breaks.
A newly refurbished meeting room is available for business or small parties.
We now offer wireless broadband internet access for guests use.
